Austin Home Inspector Reveals Improper Roof Truss Connection

Missing connectors at intersecting cords.
The home inspection reveals improper connection at the bottom truss cords. There is about a 1″ gap at the intersecting cords, with the proper connectors this would not have happened. I recommended consulting the engineered truss detail sheet to find the proper way the cords should be connected and also to consult with the engineer to determine if any repairs are needed.
